This suede cuff has a piece of a 1938 hand beaded purse. The purse was made by a Parisian Company that was bought out in 1938 by an American Company called J.B. Robinson. The story goes that Mr Robinson could not find any handiwork like these purses in the USA. When on a business trip in Paris he came across this small French Company. The War was beginning and the company was eager to sell. Mr Robinson quickly bought the company and relocated many of its employees to America. Without knowing it he likely saved their lives.
